Plan Your Visit (What to Expect)
As you plan your visit to the heart of Stanford’s energy system, here are some guidelines to help you flow through an exciting tour of our Central Energy Facility.
Arrival & Parking
Additional Parking Information
Visitors will need to request a parking permit for the day on Stanford’s Parking & Transportation website, or via Parkmobile.com (a mobile application), or by calling 1-877-727-5718. Additionally, visitors can park in one of ten visitor pay parking spots for the day that do not require permits but can be paid on arrival. Additionally, the Searsville Parking lot offers two handicap parking spots as well as three Stanford University Service Vehicle parking spots.
Visitor tour group sizes are 15-20 members per group with each of our industry-expert guides. Please inform us of your group size so that we can provide the best experience for your group.
Guided tours typically last one hour and include time to ask questions with industry experts.
There are three different types of tour experiences offered with the CEF. Read the tour descriptions.
